Creating work is about shaping my life and what is going on around me into an abstract form. The materials I use are my body, time, and space. I am interested in the contrast/balance of rawness and details, ambiguity and structure. I seek to create tension in subtlety and relief in the unexpected. Collaboration and community are a significant part of my process. Collaboration is necessary and invigorating. And the work's relationship to community is not only visually stimulating but is also empowering.

Best Christmas present - my sister made me business cards!
The project One Brave Thing asks that you do one thing everyday that scares you. Please let us know what your brave thing is and let us know how it has affected you. Today I am publishing my blog and putting my work and heart onto the interweb :-) It is scary for me. What did you do today?
